The first gameplay footage of Duke Nukem Forever has emerged and is proof that the game is alive and I assume, kicking arse. Thanks to reading Rock, Paper, Shotgun I have uncovered a video, the first episode of the Jace Hall Show in which the (somewhat) famous games producer talks to George Broussard and Scott Miller of 3D Realms about Duke Nuke.

Interesting to hear that Hookers, Coke and World of Warcraft are to blame for the slow progress of the game. I wonder what would happen if those three elements were mixed together and used in Duke Nuke? I think the world would implode.

Back on track, the short bit of gameplay footage instantly makes me think – “hmm, this is most interesting! along with thinking that they have some big guns, strange enemies and some cool world interaction. I forsee more in-game footage being released soon, next year, ah hell I dunno when!
